I have 16 years works experience with non-profit and UN Agencies in Planning, developing, and managing projects in Transitional Justice and Reconciliation Programmes, Peacebuilding, capacity building, social cohesion, Cross-border Engagement, Border Security, SGBV, MHPSS and Emergency Response in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for non-specialized health settings.

+ Supported efforts of the Government of Sierra Leone on the effective implementation of national peacebuilding education policies in 12 Districts.
+ Set up 6 community-based protection networks for extremely vulnerable children in six Districts in Sierra Leone through community mobilization and establishment of protection focal points in project locations.
+ Engaged the Ministry of Social Welfare Gender and Children’s Affairs and local partners on issues related to Child Protection, Equal Rights and provided recreational facilities for children in 10 localities of assigned districts.
+ Ensured that the strategic plan is operationalized and regularly reviewed and that activities are consistent with values and objectives of Right to Play International.
+ Verified and recommended protection services for 50 family heads – in 4 refugees camps in Kenema District, Sierra Leone.
+ Liaised with the UNHCR partners on Rape and GBV and recommended referral cases.
+ Trained refugees’ leaders and local authorities – (5 refugees’ leaders per camp; 3 males and 2 females, and 10 host communities’ leaders) on Mediation and Peaceful Co-existence.
+ Conducted field trips to monitor the welfare of refugees in four (4) camps. And provided counseling and guidance and, supported all child protection activities.
