• Supervises the Management of all pension schemes by ensuring accurate calculations, timely disbursement of benefits, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manages leave requests, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with the Standing Orders of the Civil Service and legal requirements.
• Provides support to employees during redundancy situations by offering guidance on reemployment opportunities and coordinating training programs to enhance their capacities to work.
• Manages loan programs across the civil service, including processing micro-loans and Government of Liberia (GoL) Legal Power of Attorney (LPA) applications, evaluating eligibility criteria, determining loan amounts, and monitoring repayment schedules effectively.

General management functions:

• Serves as the technical Head of the Pensions Unit.
• Provides input for the development of annual plans and budgets for the Directorate.
• Builds relationships and maintains communications with CSA Directorates and Offices.
• Prepares and submits monthly/quarterly and annual report(s) for the Unit to facilitate management decision-making.
• Represents the Director, Pay, Benefits, and Pensions on official committees as may be directed
• Liaises with relevant Ministries and Agencies and other stakeholders connected to the Civil Service to facilitate the operations of all Directorates, Sections, and Units

Technical Duties:

• Provides advice to senior management of the Civil Service of Liberia about legislative issues concerning pensions, redeployment and
  redundancies (employee separation issues).
• Collects, analyses, stores, and disseminates adequate and timely information to personnel of the Civil Service to enable them to plan their
  retirement.
• Provides technical inputs for the formulation of pension and employee separation policies.
• Provides inputs for the development and facilitates the use of guidelines and procedures to enable retired Civil Servants to receive their pensions and separation packages with dignity.
• Liaises with the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning and NASSCORP to develop modalities for fast-tracking payments to retirees
  and redundant workers.
• Provides advice and information to employees and other stakeholders as required.
• Ensures adequate and timely pre-retirement counseling of Civil Service personnel before retirement.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervises the Sr. Pension Officer, Pension Officer, Administrative Assistant and Dispatcher
• Assist in managing the administration of pensions and redundancy schemes operating within the Liberian Civil Service.
• Calculates pension and redundancy benefits for civil servants.
• Conducts pre-retirement counseling or motivational workshops in collaboration with NASSCORP for prospective retirees or employees who are to be laid off.

Achievements:

• Processed severance payments for over 500 redundant employees of the erstwhile Land Commission, National Investment Commission, Bureau of State Enterprises, and National Food Assistance Agency.
• Retired and transitioned on the pension payroll more than 1,000 civil servants
• Processed handshake packages for over 1,200 retirees.
• Organized 13 retirement programs for retired civil servants across various MACs.

• Represents the Hunan North Campus at the International Christian Fellowship
• Maintains unity, calm, and harmony while assisting members in resolving conflicts.
• Arrange and facilitate regular Bible study sessions and prayer gatherings.
• Prepares and presents the yearly activities and budget to the Executive Committee.
