I am a committed, hardworking and a young Liberian Agriculturist with outstanding work experience in rural development. My study and work have always been in livelihoods development, community developments, education and advocacy. I have excellent communication skills. I also have exceptional skills in supervision, mobilization, and motivation project beneficiaries. At the workplace, I always strive to perform my assigned tasks without complaint, and willing to go extra miles to deliver and exceed expectations where possible. I have previously worked in many projects with successful outcomes. I am currently looking to progress my career in a more challenging role.

Work History

County Level Facilitator

Rural Economic Transformation Project (RETRAP) of the Ministry of Agriculture

  • Work directly with the farmer groups and other potential beneficiaries in helping them overcome barriers deriving from lack of knowledge or insufficient cooperation among groups
  • Identify climate change related risks and impacts
  • Develop and implement climate change risks and impacts mitigation plan
  • Support farmers to adapt climate-smart agriculture practices
  • Sensitize farmers on the need for technical and extension advisory services
  • Link farmers to improved farming technologies/techniques through collaboration with CARI
  • Facilitate the preparation of Business Plans (BPs) for farmer groups
  • Facilitate the preparation of subproject proposals for farmers' groups and their participating partners
  • Train the FBOs in financial literacy, adoption of new technologies, managerial skills, and establishment of market linkages
  • Perform feasibility studies on production/business development and provide technical supervision with the participation of the farmer groups
  • In collaboration with the Gender Officer and Environmental Specialist, lead the development of the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) of the project at county level as part of the stakeholder engagement plan
  • Help set up Grievance Redress Mechanism Committees, that will be mandated to deal with all types of grievances arising at district and county levels
  • Monitor the quality of consultations and communications at county, district and community levels

Cooperative Field Officer
